Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian sterling silver-rimmed glass hair pin jar, made by Henry Perkins & Sons of London, c-1907. The jar is of bulbous form with fitted rim, being of nice quality throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver rim has a fair few knocks and dents, per photos. The rim is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 50% overall (fading). A useful and versatile jar for the collection.
The piece stands 4.5cm and has a maximum diameter of 8cm across the middle. Unpacked, it weighs in at 86gms.
