Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian sterling silver comport, made by Charles Westwood & Sons of Birmingham, c-1907. This lovely comport stands proudly on a plain base, tapering up to a partially pierced top surface with unusual top-side hallmarks. Condition is good used, having a few bumps and bruises throughout as well as some black spots requiring additional elbow grease to remove should the new owner desire. The piece has been lightly polished with respect to patina. The comport is NOT weighted, and is entirely sterling silver. A nice and practical piece for the home collection!
The comport stands about 14cm tall having a diameter across the top of 21.5cm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 306gms.
