Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian sterling silver christening mug, made in Birmingham c-1908 and retailed by Hardy Brothers of Brisbane & Sydney. This beautiful mug features a most unusual shape not dissimilar from a pear, with cylindrical top tapering towards a six-sided rounded base. Condition is good used, with a few knocks and dents evident throughout. The mug is beautifully engraved, with the hallmarks about 70% overall (maker worn). A lovely mug for your collection.
The mug stands 7cm tall and has a diameter of 6cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 99gms.
