Here today for your consideration we have this sensational Edwardian sterling silver novelty pin cushion, made by Crisford & Norris of Birmingham, c-1909. This charming piece takes on the form of a roller skate, complete with two sets of working wheels and a cushion insert to the top. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. There are the usual minor dents and scratches throughout, with some the wheels being a little misshapen (but still operational). A very nice piece of Edwardian novelty silver for the collection.
The skate stands 5cm tall and measures 7cm heel-to-toe. Unpacked, it weighs in at 39gms.
