Here today for your consideration we have this superb Edwardian 9ct yellow gold brooch, having central shell cameo, c-1910. The frame of the brooch is in good used condition having no observable damage to note. The shell cameo has an omission and a hairline fracture can be detected from the reverse, but is held tight within the mount. The pin has nice tension and holds within the catch, with the piece being hallmarked at the back of the housing. A very attractive brooch for the collection.
The brooch measures 5cm long and weighs in at 3.09gms.
