Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian set of faceted glass rouge pots, having sterling silver lids by William Vale & Sons of Birmingham, c-1910. The lids are tension set with repousse detail and bright gilding under, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with a few nibbles to the rim of one of the jars and a few bumps to the silver evident (nothing too serious). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 70% overall (fading in places). The tension-set lids sit tight to the bases, making this set perfect for use. An attractive set of early 20th century sterling silver jars for the collection.
Each piece stands 28mm tall and has a diameter of 30mm at the lid. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 33gms.
