Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold brooch, being of split bar design c-1910. The brooch features a twin-ruby setting and a leaf studded with nine seed pearls, being of good quality throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with some warping to the bars and the detachment of one of the central ball spacers from one bar only (securely attached to the other bar still, per photos). The solid gold pin holds good tension within the catch, with the hallmarks in good order. A fine early 20th century solid gold brooch with delightful rubies and seed pearls.
The rubies have diameters of 2.5mm and an estimated total weight of 0.14cts, with the brooch measuring 47mm long. Unpacked, it weighs in at 2.43gms.
