Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian sterling silver christening mug, made by Wilson & Sharp of Birmingham and retailed by Wilson & Sharp of Edinburgh, c-1910. The mug is of Georgian styling with bulbous body and plinth base, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The mug features a well executed monogram to one face, with the hallmarks near faded (date letter lost). A useful early 20th century English sterling silver mug for the collection.
The piece stands 8.5cm tall and has a diameter of 6.5cm at the rim. It has a comfortable capacity of 180mls and weighs in at a respectable 140gms unpacked.
