Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian sterling silver-backed clothes brush, made by Joseph & Richard Griffin of Chester, c-1912. The brush is of oval design with heavy wooden support and repousse-style detailing, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is fair used, with a few dents and wear spots to the silver backing evident (per photos). The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An attractive early 20th century sterling silver clothes brush with desirable repousse detailing.
The brush measures 12cm x 7.5cm and weighs in at 175gms unpacked.
