Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian sterling silver needle case or cheroot holder, made by Francis Webb of Birmingham, c-1913. The case is of tubular design with unembellished body and tension set cap, being of good quality throughout. Condition is reasonable, with a few depressions evident to the body, with a good polish sure to enhance presentation. The case is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A versatile early 20th century case in English sterling silver.
Not including the chain loop, the case measures 62mm long and has a diameter of 12mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 5gms.
