Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian cut glass inkwell or hairpin bottle, with sterling silver top made by James Deakin & Sons of Chester, c-1913. This wonderful piece is in fair used condition throughout, having a few chips to the glass base and some dents to the silver rim (refer photos). The top fits tightly onto the base, and the hallmarks are about 80% overall. An attractive piece for the collection.
The bottle stands 9cm tall and has a maximum diameter of about 7cm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 185gms.
