Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Edwardian solid 9ct gold brooch, made by Liddell's of Adelaide, c-1915. The brooch features a central yellow gold shield held within a rose gold hollow wreath, complete with metal pin and simple C catch. Condition is reasonably good used, with a few bumps to the rose gold evident and evidence of a ground off loop to the top. The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the engraving and hallmark in good order. A fine early 20th century Australian brooch in yellow and rose gold.
The brooch has a diameter of 24.5mm and weighs in at 2.48gms unpacked.
