Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold brooch, made by H. Simonsen of Melbourne, c-1915. The brooch features a bouquet of six synthetic stone-studded flowers and twin leaves studded with a total of twenty-four (24) seed pearls, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to the stones or gold to note (a couple of the stones are replacements; fracture to one seed pearl evident, but pearl is secure). The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the brooch hallmarked to the reverse. A fantastic early 20th century Australian gold brooch for the collector.
The brooch measures 51mm long across the face and weighs in at 4.92gms unpacked.
