Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian solid 9ct yellow gold fob medal, made by Duggin, Shaphere & Co of Melbourne, c-1915. The medal is of round shape with enamel detailing and partially voided body, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with some enamel loss to the central oars and the suspension loop wearing quite thin (per photos). The medal is beautifully inscribed to the verso, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. A wonderful gold medal for the collector, or reinforce and add a bail and wear as a very appealing necklace pendant.
The medal has a diameter of 23mm and weighs in at 4.14gms unpacked.
