Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian sterling silver cruet set, made by Brook & Son of Edinburgh, assayed in Sheffield c-1915. The set includes two pepperettes and two open salt cellars with original blue glass liners, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with a few minor flakes to the glass and no major salt corrosion to note. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 50% overall (patchy and worn in places). A beautiful early 20th century sterling silver cruet set for the collection.
The pepper pots stand 8cm tall, with the salts measuring 5.5cm x 4cm at the rims. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 168gms, with the silver accounting for 112gms of this.
