Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Edwardian twenty-four piece dessert cutlery set, made by Walker & Hall of Sheffield, c-1905. The set includes twelve knives and twelve forks each decorated with a zigzag design to the silver and with vibrant mother of pearl handles, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with minimal plate wear evident throughout and evidence of a clean repair to one fork handle (per photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with each piece hallmarked for the maker. The English oak canteen is in good order with beautiful patina, and whilst the clasp is complete it does not latch (some adjustment may be required). A most attractive early 20th century dessert cutlery set from a quality English maker.
The knives and forks measure 19cm and 16cm long respectively, with the boxed set weighing in at 1,850gms in total.
