Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful solid 15ct yellow gold convertible pendant brooch, made by Willis & Sons of Melbourne, c-1910. This versatile jewellery piece takes the form of a triple-layer flower with a total of forty-eight (48) seed pearls, including one in the bail. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The pearls are in lovely shape, with the gold having nice patina throughout. The pin holds good tension within the clasp, with the removeable bail in good condition. A very attractive solid gold pendant brooch for the discerning collector.
The pearls have diameters of between 1.5mm and 2.5mm, with the piece (including bail) measuring 43mm x 32mm across the face. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 8.89gms.
