Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Edwardian solid 15ct yellow gold brooch, made by Willis & Sons of Melbourne, c-1910. This wonderful piece features three amethyst-glass stones and a total of twenty-nine (29) seed pearls in an Art Nouveau-style bow and leaf formation, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the piece hallmarked to the reverse. The safety chain is a later addition, and adds peace of mind. An excellent early 20th century solid gold brooch for the collection.
The brooch measures 56mm x 23mm across the face and weighs in at a respectable 6.30gms unpacked.
