Here today for your consideration we have this superb Edwardian cut glass sugar caster or cruet shaker, having sterling silver lid made by Henry Matthews, likely Birmingham c-1915. This beautiful piece features a hexagonal cut glass body with tight-fitting lid and star-shape piercing, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no chips or cracks to the glass and just a few minor dents to the silver. The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about almost worn to the lid. A very attractive piece of antique silver and glass for the collection.
The caster stands 16.5cm tall and weighs in at 260gms unpacked.
