Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic Georgian sterling silver table or soup spoon, made by Nicholas Hearnden of London, c-1762. The spoon has been produced in the popular Hanoverian design with decorative shell bowl join, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (evidence of early repair to stem, per photos). The spoon features a well executed monogram to the verso, with the hallmarks about 60% overall (fading). A wonderful and versatile mid 18th century English silver spoon for the collection.
The spoon measures just over 20cm long and weighs in at 52gms unpacked.
