Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Georgian set of six sterling silver table or soup spoons, made by Alexander Gardner of Edinburgh, c-1765. The set has been produced in the desirable Hanoverian design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (early repair to one spoon bowl evident, per photos). Each spoon features a well executed monogram to the verso, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. A fine set of 18th century Scottish sterling silver tablespoons for the collector.
Each spoon measures just shy of 22cm long, with the set weighing in at a respectable 423gms unpacked.
