Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian sterling silver large berry spoon, made by John Lampfert of London c-1767-1773 and later fashioned by Henry Holland of London, c-1861. The spoon would have started its life as a Hanoverian basting spoon, before conversion in the mid 19th century to its current form. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The spoon features remnant gilding to the bowl with a well executed crest to the verso, with the original hallmarks about 60% (fading) and the later hallmarks about 90%. A fantastic and useful English sterling silver serving spoon with 18th century origins.

The spoon measures 24cm long and weighs in at 78gms unpacked.
