Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian set of three sterling silver dessert spoons, made by George Smith II of London, sometime around 1780. This beautiful set has been produced in the Old English design with bright cut face, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (old repair to one handle, minor depressions to the bowls evident). Each spoon features a well executed but fading crest to the face, with the hallmarks about 40% overall (almost worn). A very fine set of 18th century sterling silver.
Each spoon measures about 17cm long, with the set weighing in at 107gms unpacked.
