Here today for your consideration we have this lovely set of Georgian sterling silver sugar nips, made by Gabriel Wirgman of London, c-1792. The set is of large size with bright cut stems, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with evidence of some repair work at the head (per photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A wonderful 18th century silver set for sugar cubes, or great to repurpose for antipasto.
The nips measures 14cm long and weighs in at 27gms unpacked.
