Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian sterling silver teaspoon, made by Thomas Watson of Newcastle, who used this mark between 1794 and 1798. The spoon has been produced in the popular Old English design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few shallow depressions evident to the bowl). The spoon features a well executed monogram to the face, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. A useful piece of 18th-century English sterling silver for the collection.
