Here today for your consideration we have this lovely pair of Georgian sterling silver salt cellars, made by Solomon Hougham of London, c-1798. The set is of four-footed ellipse shape with pierced and bright cut detail to the bodies, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (no liners present). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fine late 18th century set of salt cellar frames for the collection.
Each cellar stands 5.5cm tall and measures 9cm x 5.5cm at the rim. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 88gms.
