Here today for your consideration we have this lovely set of Georgian sterling silver sugar nips, made by Peter, Ann & William Bateman of London, c-1799. The set has been produced in the popular Old English design with bright cut stems, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with evidence of a couple of early repairs to one side (per photos). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A wonderful set of 18th century English sterling silver sugar nips from a renowned family of silversmiths.
