Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian sterling silver small dessert spoon, made by Peter & Ann Bateman of London, c-1801. The spoon has been produced in the popular Old English design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The spoon features a well executed but fading monogram to the face, with the hallmarks about 70% overall (maker all but lost). A fine piece of early 19th century English sterling silver from arguably the most renown silversmith family of the time.
