Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Georgian sterling silver dessert spoon, made by Peter, Ann & William Bateman of London, c-1802. The spoon has been produced in the popular Old English design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The spoon features a well executed monogram to the face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall (maker fading). A delightful early 19th century spoon from a most prominent family of silversmiths.
