Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian sterling silver sauce ladle, made by Ann Robertson of Newcastle, c-1804-1811. The ladle has been produced in the popular Fiddle Back design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a small and shallow depressions evident to the bowl, per photos). The ladle features a well executed crest to the face, with the hallmarks about 70% overall (no date letter struck). An attractive early 19th century sterling silver ladle from the desirable Newcastle assay.
The ladle measures 16.5cm long and weighs in at 51gms unpacked.
