Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian partially complete sterling silver cruet set, predominately made by Charles Chesterham II of London, c-1805. The set includes an oil bottle, sugar sifter (with later sterling lid) and mustard pot, each having matching design to the glass bodies. The stand is of classic four-footed design with mahogany base and reeded rims. Condition is fair, with a few issues of note. The stand has a split at the original join and a few depressions throughout, but is complete with the mahogany in good condition. The glass bottles are free from chips or cracks, with the silver mounts and lids without damage. The stand is monogrammed to both sides, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. A charming early 19th century sterling silver cruet set with two open spaces for your salt and pepper shakers.
The set stands 22cm tall and measures 17cm x 12cm across the body. Unpacked, it has a total weight of 835gms, with just the base (including timber) weighing in at 291gms.
