Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful pair of Georgian sterling silver sauce ladles, made by Richard Crossley & George Smith IV of London, c-1808. The set has been produced in the Old English design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a good polish will enhance presentation). Each spoon features a well executed monogram to the verso, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A useful early 19th century set of sterling silver ladles for the collection.
Each ladle measures 17cm long with the bowls having a width of 6cm. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 100gms.
