Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian set of four sterling silver table or serving spoons, made by George Turner of Exeter, c-1808. This wonderful set has been produced in the popular Fiddleback design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with one spoon having a discrete 5mm fracture to the edge of the bowl rim, with some minor tip wear evident throughout (refer photos). The set features a well executed crest to the face, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A fine set for the collection.
Each spoon measures 23cm long, with the set weighing in at an impressive 292gms unpacked.
