Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian sterling silver teapot, made by Samuel Hennell of London, c-1809. The pot is of lovely form and proportion with ball feet, fluted base and gadrooned rim. Condition is very nice, with no major damage to note. The handle is tight to the body with the finial in good order. The pot features a near-faded crest to one face, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A beautiful early 19th century sterling silver teapot for the collection.
The teapot stands 14cm tall and measures 27cm handle-to-spout. It has a comfortable capacity of 1,000ml (34 fluid ounce) and pours beautifully. Unpacked, it weighs in at 575gms.
