Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Georgian sterling silver dessert or fruit knife, made by Moses Brent of London, c-1810. The knife has been produced in the popular Old English Thread design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good used, with the handle sustaining a few shallow depressions throughout and having some separation (still tight to the blade). The knife is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fantastic and versatile early 19th century English silver knife for the collection.
