Here today for your consideration we have this nice set of Georgian sterling silver sugar nips or tongs, made by Peter & William Bateman of London, c-1813. The set has been produced in the popular Old English design with bright-cut detail throughout, being of good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The set features a well executed monogram to the head, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A versatile set of early 19th century sterling silver nips for sugar, or repurpose for antipasto and other pickles.
