Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian sterling silver teapot, made by Thomas Wallis II & Jonathan Hayne of London, c-1816. The teapot is of Regency styling with half-fluted detail, standing atop four ball feet and will full silver handle and finial. The quality is good throughout, both in design and construction. Condition is reasonably good, with the handle free from movement and the isolators without loss. The ball feet have worn through their bottom plate from 200 years of setting on and off tables, with the teapot sitting evenly on a table without wobbles. The surface has many shallow depressions and bumps, none of which would be considered atypical given the age. The teapot features a well executed monogram to one face, with the hallmarks in very good order. A wonderful early 19th century sterling silver teapot for your table.

The teapot stands 15cm tall and measures 29.5cm handle-to-spout. It has a generous capacity of 1,250mls (42 fl.oz) and pours well. Unpacked, it weighs in at 733gms.
