Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Georgian sterling silver dessert spoon, made by James McKay of Edinburgh, c-1826. The spoon has been produced in the attractive Fiddle & Shell design, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few minor bumps to the bowl evident; nothing too serious). The spoon is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A useful piece of 19th century Scottish sterling silver for the table.
The spoon measures 17.5cm long and weighs in at 34gms unpacked.
