Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian eight-piece sterling silver dessert cutlery set, made by Aaron Hadfield & Sons of Sheffield, c-1826-1827. The set has been produced in the popular Old English Thread design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is reasonably good, with the handles sustaining a few shallow depressions throughout and some minor separation of some of the knife handles (tight to the blades). The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A beautiful early 19th century English sterling silver dessert set to impress your guests with.
The knives and forks measure 20.5cm and 16.5cm long respectively, with the set weighing in at 357gms unpacked.
