Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian pair of sterling silver handled entree knives, with handles made by Aaron Hadfield of Sheffield, c-1828. This beautiful set has been produced in the popular Queens pattern, and is of very good quality. The handles are sterling silver, with one blade being original steel and the other being silver plated (replacement). Condition is fair used, with the original blade having some rust and jagged edges. Each handle features a well executed crest, with the hallmarks being about 60% overall (wearing). A nice early set to add to or complete the collection.
The knives measure 21.5cm and 21cm long, with the set having a combined weight of 87gms unpacked.
