Here today for your consideration we have this superb Georgian sterling silver cruet set, made by Joseph Angell I of London, c-1828. This impressive set features nicely crafted silverwork with themes akin to the Kings pattern appearing throughout, as well as acanthus leaf and fruit motifs. The quality is superb, with very good silver gauge and construction. Condition of the stand is good used, with some evidence of previous old repairs in places. Three of the bottles are presumed original, with one having original mustard spoon. Each of the bottles are damaged, with chips and losses evident (pepper pot lid being silver plated, unmarked). This is an extremely attractive four-bottle Georgian set that will grace any collection.

The cruet stands 16cm tall and measures 13.5cm square across the base. The stand will hold bottles with diameters of up to 4.5cm. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 1,131gms, with the sterling stand accounting for a generous 487gms of this.
