Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful pair of Georgian sterling silver table or serving spoons, made by Jean de Gallais of Jersey, c-1830's. The set has been produced in the Fiddleback design with unusual pear-shape bowls, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is fair used, with one spoon appearing to have an altered bowl, and the other with some minor bowl wear (per photos). The set features a well executed monogram to the face, being hallmarked for the maker to the verso (fading). A rare early 19th century Channel Islands set of sterling silver spoons for the collection.
The spoons measures 20cm and 20.5cm long, with the set weighing in at 92gms unpacked.
