Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian sterling silver master butter knife, made by William Chawner II of London, c-1831. The knife features a double-sided decorative handle with shell and scroll detail, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (some pattern wear throughout from use, as expected). The knife features a well executed monogram to the face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall (maker fading). A very attractive piece of 19th century sterling silver for the table.
