Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Georgian set of 5 sterling silver tablespoons, made by Peter Aitken I of Glasgow, c-1835. This superb set has been produced in the popular Fiddle Back design and is of very good quality and gauge. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (couple of pinpricks here and there, nothing too serious). Each spoon features a well executed crest and monogram to the face, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A very fine set of early 19th century Scottish silver for the collection.
Each spoon measures 22.5cm long, with the set having a generous combined weight of 426gms unpacked.
