Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Georgian/Victorian crossover sterling silver fitted glass mustard pot, made by George Frederick Pinnell of London, c-1837. The jar is of oval form with scalloped faceting, with the hinged lid of domed form with chased floral and leaf detail. Condition is fair, with a large and full crack to the jar evident (per photos). The silver lid and mount are in good order, with no monogram featured and the hallmarks about 80% overall. A sweet cruet bottle to add to or complete the set.
The bottle measures 65mm x 37mm across the base and stands around 100mm tall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 244gms.
