Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian pair of sterling silver sugar casters, made by William Richard Corke of London, c-1894. The set is of large proportion and traditional form, with plinth base and teardrop finials. The quality is very good throughout, both in design and construction. Condition is reasonably good used, with a minor lean to one caster and a few shallow depressions throughout evident (nothing major). The lids sit tightly on the bases with the internal gilding being in very good order. The set is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A fine set of late 19th century sterling silver casters for the collection.
Each caster stands 18cm tall with the set weighing in at a very respectable 286gms unpacked.
