Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful and rare Georgian sterling silver mustard pot, made by Thomas Blagden & Company of Sheffield, c-1808. The pot is of unusual design with saucer base, wire handle and hinged lid, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with the frame having a slight lean and the blue glass liner with a few chips to the rim (per photos). The mustard pot is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A most unusual Georgian mustard pot for the collection.
The pot stands about 8cm tall and with the plate having a diameter of around 10cm. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 190gms with the silver accounting for 124gms of this.
