Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful early Victorian sterling silver entree fork, made by Mary Chawner of London, c-1838. The fork has been produced in the popular Fiddle, Thread & Shell design (single struck; thread to reverse), being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (minor rounding to tines). The fork features a well executed though fading crest to the verso, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. An attractive piece of 19th century English silver for the collection.
The fork measures 17cm long and weighs in at 45gms unpacked.
