Here today for your consideration we have this early Victorian sterling silver dinner fork, made by Josiah Lowe of Dublin, c-1842. The fork has been produced in the popular Old English/Hanoverian design, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (early and discrete repair to one tine). The fork is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall (maker fading). A fine piece of mid 19th century Irish sterling silver for the table.
The fork measures 20cm long and weighs in at 64gms unpacked.
