Here today for your consideration we have this superb early Victorian sterling silver tablespoon, made by William Rawlings Sobey of Exeter, c-1845. The spoon has been produced in the popular Fiddleback design and is of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The piece features a well executed monogram to the face and an inscribed date of 1841 to the verso, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. A great piece of antique silver for the collection.
The spoon measures 22.5cm long and weighs in at 70gms unpacked.
